Day 1: Arrive Saigon: Transport from airport to Saigon. Book into our hotel, exchange currency, orientation & tour briefing. We then take in a short city tour of Saigon: visiting the colonial-style Old Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral, China Town and Cho Lon Market. In the evening we attend a traditional wedding performance at the Binh Quoi tourist village.
Day 2: Saigon–My Tho–Saigon (Breakfast, Lunch): Excursion to My Tho and the Mekong Delta. Cruise on the Tien River and visit the Thoi Son Islet, where we can enjoy tropical fruit with local tea, honey and coconut candy. Relax as we experience a sampan cruise through the small canals.
Day 3: Saigon–Chu Chi Tunnels–Tay Ninh–Saigon (Breakfast): Excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels: the tunnel system where the Viet Cong lived and operated underground during the Vietnam War. We continue to Tay Ninh to attend the elaborate ceremonies of the Cao Dai religion: an combination of Catholicism, Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism.
Day 4: Saigon (Breakfast): A free day in Saigon to relax, shop and explore.
Day 5: Saigon–Nha Trang (Breakfast): We leave Saigon to travel by air conditioned bus to Nha Trang. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 6: Nha Trang (Breakfast, Lunch): A full day is spent cruising around the area's beautiful offshore islands and swimming in the warm and clear water. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 7: Nha Trang–Qui Nhon (Breakfast): A morning tour of Nha Trang before we head up the coast to Qui Nhon.
Day 8: Qui Nhon–Hoi An (Breakfast): A stop at the My Lai site before continuing on to Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An (Breakfast): Today is free to shop and explore. Hoi An is famous for its clothing, art and silk markets and its magnificent Chinese and Japanese architecture. Take a walking tour of the Old Town to see the historic merchant houses and the 400-year-old Japanese bridge.
Day 10: Hoi An (Breakfast): Free day to continue shopping and exploring Hoi An. Opportunities to swim at the beach or relax at the hotel.
Day 11: Hoi An–Hue (Breakfast): We leave Hoi An to explore Marble Mountain before a stop-over at the spectacular Hai Van Pass. Here we enjoy expansive views of the coast and hinterland — and stop at the photogenic fishing village of Lang Co for lunch. We continue to HueHue and check into our hotel.
Day 12: Hue (Breakfast): A morning cruise on the Perfumed River. We visit the Tomb of Minh Mang, and the Thien Mu Pagoda with its seven-storey tower. Afternoon tour of Hue and the Old Citadel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 13: Hue–Hanoi (Breakfast): Transfer to Hue Airport for our flight to Hanoi. Check into hotel and take an orientation walk around Hoan Kien Lake. The rest of the day is free time.
Day 14: Hanoi (Breakfast): A half-day tour of Hanoi including the Old Quarter: consisting of 36 commercial streets, where the area is divided street-by-street among the various traditional guilds. Options to visit recommended museums and places of interest. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 15: Hanoi–Ha Long (Breakfast): Drive to Hoa Lu – a thousand years ago, the once-formidable capital of Vietnam – and visit the Tam Coc caves by boat. We continue on to Ha Long Bay for our 2-day tour.
Day 16: Ha Long–Hanoi (Breakfast): After breakfast we take a cruise through the Bay, where over 2000 islands rise majestically out of the South China Sea. A fresh seafood lunch is served on board. We drive back to Hanoi, stopping at a ceramics centre along the way, before checking back into our hotel.
Day 17: Hanoi (Breakfast): Today is a free day to catch up on last minute shopping or exploring Hanoi. In the evening we enjoy a performance of the world famous Water Puppets.
Day 18: Depart Hanoi (Breakfast): Free time until transfer to the airport to depart Hanoi.
